Has anyone gotten married at Lunenburg and if so what steps did you take? Ex: how many guests, clothing regulations, etc. I'm pretty sure my fiance could get all the info for me but I was just curious to know. Don't know if we will marry while he is in or out. He goes up for parole in Nov this year and has a pretty good chance of getting out, so our decision will be made based on his parole.

He needs to ask his counselor for the paper work and then the warden needs to approve it.
How long has he been in that he's going up for parole?

He has been in for almost twelve years but he seems to have a really strong chance this year. They put him in the transition out program and sent me papers to verify if he can live with me but it is no guarantee.

I will be getting married at Lunnenburg this Nov., but I live in FL. He needs to write to his counselor & give a month, they only do them on the 2nd Wed. of every month. the chaplain there is named William Bell, and he doesn't marry anyone from what I hear, I had to find my own minister. After that they will nedd pictures of the rings (yours & his) a divorce decree if either of you were ever married, and so on. Contact me if you need more info, hope that was a little help.

Thank you for replying. I was just trying to get general info, we are waiting to see if he makes parole in Nov. If he does then we will marry at a later date and if he doesn't then we will marry inside the prison. And it is so funny that you live in FL because he is suppose to be moving back to tampa with me once they allow his interstate compact to go through.

I wonder if my fiance makes parole if they would let him transfer to FL, if we are married. He is ther now for parole violation. (Leaving the satate of VA(. I do know that you are allowed5 or 6 guests children under the age of 1 do not count as a person.
