Does anyone know how long it takes for someone to be released once their parole plan has been approved? My husband is already past his date. He went to the board May 24th and was approved. He was assigned a parole officer a week ago Thursday. The plan was approved by ADC on Monday, but we are still waiting. I assumed he would be home this week. Help! It would be nice to have an idea about how much time "they" have to release him. Thanks.

from what I understand once a parole offcer is assigned they make a home visit and then they have to approve the plan also.Call community corrctions in the county he is going to be paroled to and talk to the parole officer.It lays in their hands now. I dont know what county you are dealing with but I have been told that my county will drag their feet as long as possible.That was told to me by our sheriff.
