can anyone please help me im trying to find phone service , prepaid so that my son can call me from New Folsom State Prison

you can use prison calls online... they are prepaid and hook up directly to ur home or cell phone

When Do they get to call at New Folsom, I 've heard from my Husband twice since he got transffered there 2 months ago. I guess b/c it'a a level 4 Instatuition there's more limited to phoe use huh?

well new folsom just recently got off lokdown so they haven't been able to use the phones

My boyfriend said he can't have a prepaid account at Folsom. Only collect calls. I could be wrong though. Maybe they are doing something new. That sucks because we recently got the new digital service thru the cable company and they don't accept collect calls from Correctional Institutions. And what makes it worse I am from Upstate New York.

My b/f was just transfered to New Folsom and he doesnt have a problem calling he has called already 3 times but just depends how many are in the line to use the phone.

Can someone send me the web link, and more info. All I have is a cell phone, and I have heard that there are also phone cards (MCI) that you can purchase (Walmart), and put twords your cell phone, I have looked at Walmart, Target, and all around and cant find anything that you can do collect calls on. Can someone give me the info on this too. I am going crazy with this, we havent spoke on the phone in 9 months, and It would be so nice for the kids to hear his voice from time to time. Birthdays and special occasions especially. Please help - Thank you
