Which one is Delano II? My husband is at North Kern State Prison in Delano. The other one is Kern Valley State Prison.

Delano II is KVSP. There is quite a few of us with loved ones at KVSP.

I have a brother there, does anyone know when a good time to call and talk to someone in visiting is? I can never get thru?

Hi Everyone My Hubby Is Being Moved To New Delano. Is This Kern Valley, Also Known As Delano Ii? Can Someone Tell Me How The Visits Are There, What Do I Do When I First Get There. Oh But First Does Anyone Know If Im Approved In Another Prison Do I Still Have To Fill Out A New Approval Sheet For This Prison? ....... The Directions Coming From L.a Or The Address So I Can Look It Up On Mapquest, Do Any Of You Visit There From Los Angeles, I Wouldn't Mind Carpooling And Helping Out With Gas, Hotel And Car Rental. (i Dont Know If We Would Have To Stay He Is Currently In Solano Vacaville, Ca But Just Got His Transfer Papers To Get Moved To New Delano.

Hey girl how are you, well my love is in KVSP too. You should be approved there as well if your approved in another prison already. The visits are not bad, people start making line as early as 4 a.m I try to get there early it does get busy. If you have any other questions let me know.

and from what i remember, they only answered on wed and friday until 2 pm i believe it was. . . first thing in the morning i syour best bet.

if you were approved at another prison you should be still approved. unless its been 3 years; i think every 3 you have to re submit your approval to make sure you havent become a felon or somethin in that time.

Hello... my friend was in corcoran, i visit there and when he transferd to Delano. I did not have to do any paper work at all. It was all there. Good Luck :-)

From La Take The 110 North To The 5 North. Stay On The 5 North Sacramento , To The 99 North, To Cecil Ave Exit. Make A Left To The Light. Make Another Left And Keep Straight To The Gate On Your Left Kvsp. You Won't Miss It The Sign Will Say "do Not Pick Up Hitchhikers State Prison" Something Like That. Or You Can Take 405 North To The 5 North To 99 North Which Ever Is Easier For You.

Mainlined happens after reception. In reception they are given classification and all that stuff, and then they are mainlined, sent to another prison, (usually) to do their time. Since he hasnt called you and he is in NKSP, which is a reception prison, I am assuming he is in receptionwas is that..

I have my man up in Delano II. He was just transfered there from Corcoran SHU. He likes it there (better than the SHU) vistis are funny like that though. I com from Sacramento. I leave here at 5 am and get there about 8:30 am and I get in to see him between 10:30 - 11:30. So if you can, go early so that way you get more time. But becareful on them visits though, because them female CO's are haters!!

what yard do you visit? yup thats true girl be carefull.. last time the i went visit my husband they gave me a paper saying some stu*&@ shi^ and it wasnt true... but they didnt suspended my visit because they gave me the paper when visit was over... so girls be carefull in visit...

I visit B yard. That little B, said I was kissing to long at the end of visit. NOT TRUE!!!! She wasnt there last week and I hope not to see her tomorrow. Hopefully shes gone. Because I wrote a letter to the sgt. complaining about her. Alot of visitors have. I hope that did it.

Yeah that's why they hating cuz they used to seeing them all the time and to see them with the "right" females kills them!! Girl I know what you mean about wanting to be a CO where your man is!! But check this out I'm a Parole Agent in Northern Cali and I get Sh*t all the time, they even wanted me to resign from my position!! I put in for a Correctional Officer and went to the training camp and everything but when they found out that my fiance was doing life they pulled me from that sh*t real quick. It ain't all that it's cracked up to be, but I can guarantee you this when it comes time to face the baord you better believe that I am going to be holding it down to the fullest !!! He does have advantages to having me work for the system, but I am always under investigation so I need to watch my A$$. But until they fire me (which is going to impossible with the CCPOA) I will love him forever!! We even plan on getting married, man these muthafu*kas are going to be hating for reals when that happens, I don't know how soon they will find out or if I can even keep it on the DL.? I think I might be in for a career change real quick here
