My grandfather was just transfered to High Desert in Susanville and I wanted to know how to get money on his books and what kind of things we can send to him. Can anyone help?

Hello. The only way I know of to get money to any prison in Calif is to send a U.S. Postal Money Order. Make it payable to your grandfather with his CDC # and full housing address. They will remove the money order, put the money on his account, and put a slip in your letter letting him know that he has received money.
