any one got married in CCI? if so what is your opinion on the cermony? can you give me an idea what to look forward to or what to not look forward to.. maybe a heads up on what i need to do now, to make the ball roll faster.. i have done the packet.. thats been done and completed and sent.. only thing is his counselor isnt that helpful, she wont tell me anything beyond the packet.. some maybe some help .. please.. thanks guys:)

MARRIAGE IN CCI


Yea.. I was married last year in Oct..2005
Umm, lemme see after the packet, the counselor has to give it to Lisa Maclaughlin, she is the marriage coordinator.. anyway, she will send you a package stating when to be there and what to do.. you will have to have a money order for 125.00 for the preacher, and 13.00 for how many certificates you want.. WHat it is like and what to wear
Hmmm, lets see I wore a cream dress it was REALLY nice the WHOLE prison complimented me on that.. Well you and who ever else is getting married on that day wait in that area where the bus picks you up....(( There were 5 couples to get married with me, and guess what Only one girl was there besides me...))

you can bring monies to eat with though you will have NO TIME really.. and get picture ducketts.. well I saw my hubby and went through the gates and got him.. he was looking..Welll anyway, so then we just walked around while the marriage coordiantor sits down with you and goes over the packet, his names and offenses.... so that you can be REALLY sure, it is basically your last chance to run... LOL
And they make you sign alll of these papers. Give you reading materials on pregnancy, abuse, drugs, and diseases in a marriage...
then you give her the 13.00 for the cerificates..then the priest calls you

well we shall see.. his counselor is so difficult to deal with.. she now wants him to send the packet back and have me write a letter of intent.. it seems its like anything to set us back.. i get so frustrated with that lady...

Letter of Intent..WHAT THE HELL.. Ok, that is strange... Well PM me and tell me what he is in for.. AND that may be the reason she ask that, because I know they kept asking me did I know the alias' my hubby used and the time he had and why he was there..
