CAN ANY 1 TELL ME ABOUT THESE 3 FACILITYS OTISVILLE MID-ORANGE & WALKILL? AND DO THEY HAVE FRP PROGRAMS AND WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A FACILITY DOESNT HAVE FRP PROGRAMS WILL THEY BRING YOU 2 THE CLOSEST FACILITY FOR UR FRP OR NOT? AND HOW ARE THE VISITS IN EACH PLACE ALSO HOW WOULD I GET THERE BEING I DONT DRIVE???? HELP ME SOME BODY!!!!!:confused: :confused: :angry:

If the facility doesn't have FRP's then the people at that facility can't participate in the program. They won't take you to the closer one. You have to be in a facility that has the program.

You would also have to make arrangement to get to the facility. There are van services that you can use. You just have to find out what van goes to which facility.

We've been at all three and I would rank them in order of preference:
1. Wallkill
2. Otisville
3. Mid-Orange

Only Walkill has FRP.

My cousin is at Wallkill and I have to say that it's a pretty decent place. When my family and I visit we usually go via one of the van services. We've used Lenny and Rosie's services. I prefer Rosie, because there are three vans. But that's my preference. You need to book a seat at least two to three days in advance, I usually call on Monday. It costs $40 for door to door service. You get a call the night before and they tell you what time you will be picked up. I think it ranges from 5:30am to 6:30am.
Wallkill looks like a college campus or church, not like a prison. The guards are pretty decent, except there is one guy who obviously did not receive enough attention as a child. He goes around yelling for no apparent reason. Other than that, my experiences at Wallkill have been pleasant. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

I have heard only good things about Wallkill, and they have great programs there... :)
