Just wondering if anyone can help me out on this...I need to get a hold of my friend that's there like yesterday....I heard that sending a letter certified will get it to them fast. Has anyone tried this??? Does it work?How fast is fast? Thank you all so much

Whoa, slow down. Nothing in the penal system goes anywhere very fast. Anyways, that is my personal experience. Perhaps someone in the mail room will be so kind to answer your question. GOOD LUCK !!!

have you searched the forums on this? I send everything priority and it makes no difference in when he gets it. This is only a guess but i think that they will not process it any quicker. Send a postcard. That gets to them the fastest as it doesn't have to be searched. Good Luck!!

I took off the day I picked him up, Monday, and the next day. I originally was supposed to get him Sunday so I was going to have 3 whole days with him before going back to work but instead I didn't get him until Monday at 8:15pm so all I got was that night and Tuesday. It sucked but I have the rest of my life with him right? What's a day or two??

I feel you..... I am taking a week off maybe two. I am saving all my vacation time. There is alot of things that he needs to get done the first week so he can get back to work and I still want some alone time!

Well, I am gonna quit my job.. we are gonna live in the mountains or somewhere in BUTT F**K EGYPT somewhere.. on a lot of land and in the mid of NOWHERE. away from it alll.. I am gonna be one of those housewives that makes perserves for the neighbors.. we will fish and hunt..and bathe in the stream..LOL

Nah, but I am gonna take days off in like spurts.. he gets out on a Mon..so i will take off that Tues, and Wed.. then we have the weekends..then I will take off the next THurs and fri so we can go to SD...

NOW about the mail.. If it is REALLY important I call his counselor and have him tell B to call me, or I send the mail PRIORITY/NEXT DAY to the counselor
