My husband went through an ordeal this week.
they took him out for a transfer, he spent one night in Downstate and then was sent to Sing Sing and then Thursday night he was sent back to where he was....why would they do this? He gave all of his stuff away, even food, and clothes, and now he has nothing, he has been in shackles all week, and dirty, and the worst part is, he is not supposed to go to Sing Sing because of a few reasons involving his case, and while he was there he was taunted and teased! When he was sent back to his original prison, it was because he was denied being transfered there....I am not sure of everything, but I wonder why they keep torturing him like this so unjustly?
he asked me to call someone and find out why they did that. can I do that, and who do I call and do you think it is worth it right now? can they do that to him? He told me to call his counselor or classification and movement, what do you think? And can someone post the # to call classification and movement? Thanks so much to all of you.
