Edgefield is extremely good with mail, in fact I sent my father in law a book for his birthday. Amazon said it was delivered Wed in the morning & he got it that very same day. He is in the camp which is not as strict as the Prison next door. ok here is my question. I found this really nice bookmarker (Footprints) with a tassel & at the end of the tassel there is a cross... do you think they will accept it? If not will they mail it back? Please let me know what u think... THANKS!!!!:)

I would send it along with a letter. And make a note on the letter that you're enclosing a bookmark for him. As long as it it flat and nobody can try to hide any contraband in it, he will probably get it.

You can also send it to the prison Chaplin and designate that it is being sent for your father-in-law. May God bless you for the care you are providing for his lost lambs!

My husband sent me book marks and they let them in.

I've sent in bookmarks but removed the tassels before I sent them. They can't be multi-layered, though (like the ones encased in plastic). Nothing that would have to be torn apart to see what's within (just like with greeting cards). Zelda
