Greetings all! I have visited this community for a few months now as a guest and finally decided to register here. I try not to leave footprints where they are not needed but I do want to be a part of helping others with family in prison. Some call this paranoid but I have been a part of this system for over 25 years and walking lite has worked best for me both on the inside and especially on the out. Walkin big and bad offers a larger target. :ham: I have done time in federal prisons USP Marion, Terre Hutte, Levenworth, Lompoc & Atlanta. I have done state time in Texas, Oklahoma & Louisiana. I have now been out for 4 years now and have made all the money I need to live the lifestyle I want. I finally did this legitimately and it feels good to know I can survive without knocking off banks, dealing drugs and other business ventures I use to call "being an entrepreneur". I live in a 38' RV and travel wherever I like, usually the places I use to read about and tack up on my wall with push-pins I got under the table. and I have a paid driver to take me there. I got my college degree in 2 years in business information systems after I got out and now own & manage a web hosting company (from the road) I love technology! Everything I was missing on the inside and have now discovered. My favorite setup is the tracking satellite dish and network I can use as I am riding down the highway (I am now) In the past couple of years I have tried not to think about prison but I am at the point in my life where I want to do my part in helping where I can. I am sure everyone is happy like me about this website. The system operator has done a good job and it is good to see other ex-cons doing good and working to better the lives of everyone effected by the criminal justice system. you are appreciated friend!

Rockford....
Just wanted to say thanks for joining and for sharing your story because just that helps. I am sure I am not alone in my fears and worries about whether my man will be able to do everything he dreams of (or whether everything WE dream of.) :) It is nice to be reassured that dreams CAN be realized! Stories like yours keep those at my place in the road dreaming on. So, thanks!
