I was wondering if anyone has sent a calendar to their loved one? Any experience with this? I wonder... either mailed from me or from Amazon, etc?

Thanks!

I go to Wal-mart and use that machine that you make copies of pictures on and make it a calender. They have all kinds of borders etc. and it makes a 4 by 6 size picture with your picture on it. My man loves it. And for the low price of .28 cents. It's pretty cool. Also I have sent the small wall calenders they are like 5 inches by 5 inches. I just make sure to remove the staples. Hope this helps good-luck.

You know... I never thought about making my own and sending them. I just saw a Harley Davidson calendar at the dollar store and thought of sending it to him, but its a bif 12x12 one.

I love the idea of making my own with pictures and stuff. I can also fill in those special dates so he has no excuse to forget! Thank you!

Sometimes you can send those, it depends where he is at. Just make sure to remove the staples. I sent one to my son at Norco and he got it.

I sent one to my brother a few years ago at DVI, and it got in fine. He's at CTF now, but I haven't tried there. It's worth a try, right! I'm pretty sure you can't send in anything spiral bound, so I'd just make sure it's folded and not bound with plastic or metal.

Can you use ribbon on the calendar or is that considered contraband?

What can you use instead of the metal or plastic to keep the calendar together?

I've been thinking about making a calendar for my boyfriend with my own pictures. He's at PVSP, does anyone know if I can send it. And what the restrictions are? No metal and staples? Is plastic binding ok?
