What happened at Folsom to cause a statewide lock down? My mom got a letter from brother today saying he was on his way. New/Old didn't know there was a differance.

old folsom and new folsom are right next toeach other. I don't know what happened? i havent gotten a letterr in two weeks. maybe soonm thoug if he says any thing i'll let you know!

i KNOW THAT THEY ARE MOVING INMATES AROUND AT FOLSOM. THERE WAS SOMETHING SAID THAT OLD FOLSOM WAS CLOSING. iF YOU DID NOT HEAR INMATE HELD A GUARD CAPTIVE AND HE RELEASED HER AFTER SPEAKING WITH A FAMILY MEMBER THATS WHAT CAUSED THE LOCKDOWN ON ALL PRISONS

yes old folsom is on lockdown they just got their visits back but they are still on lockdown and a inmate (new folsom) took a guard hostage for about 10 hours but finally let her her go unharmed and yes they are suppose to be closing old folsom but who knows whenit will really happen but my mail has been running regualr it takes my letters 2 days to get to me no problem in that dept.
