Effective today Mule Creek is on Lockdown due to an intestinal Vvrus outbreak. No visiting this weekend.:(

The intestinal virus that has Mule Creek on lockdown is called "The Norwalk Virus", it is from infected fecal matter in the food!!!! How nasty is that!!

Thank you for letting me know what is going on. I haven't heard from my son for a few days and I was getting really worried especially since he told me he didn't feel well the last time I talked to him. Wouldn't you thing that the food handlers would be wearing gloves. I am a preschool teacher and when I serve food I always wear gloves. It is so sickening to think that the food servers aren't even washing their hands.

They were taken off of lockdown yesterday. Hopefully you will here from your son sonn!

Hi I heard from my son last night. He told me he was very very sick. He was put on an iv and had a fever of 103 for a few days. He said he has never been that ill sick before. It is scary to know that he was so ill and I didn't know nor could I get any information. At least he is recovering now. I hope all the other inmates who were stricken by this contamination recover fully.
