Please does anybody know what the Parole Dept. defination of a Crime Free Area is? I tried this posting in the Parole section but got no response. My Hubbie is due to come home soon. I think we live in a Crime Free Area, but I am not sure. Its the same house we had before he went back on a Technical PV. He's a ND/NR. I am pretty sure they will let him come back, since he was on Probation at this same address. I just don't want any surprises.:D

Hi there, Im not sure how a regular neighborhood of houses is determined as crime free or not, but I know that some apartments have adopted the 'crime free' label. If you live in an apartment, then check with the office. If its a neighborhood, then maybe call your HOA...im not too clear on that. I hope someone else can help you further. :o

Thanks HubbysLilAngelBaby. I live in a house. That's a good idea to check the HOA, although I think if we own it doesn't matter. I will have to check on that.

Is he an SO? Because if he is, then I think the guidelines are that he cant live within so many feet of a park or a school, or something like that. If he is a regular offender then those conditions dont apply.

He's in for DUI well a (Technical on P.V), and we own our home. I think I will call the Parole Dept. and get their defination of a "Crime Free" area. I am just curious. I guess I will know soon enough when the Parole Officer comes to our house. Thanks for you help.
I think Crime Free Area relates to areas near schools, parks, and places that children go.
