I'm not sure if everyone remembers or not, but a while back i posted about my cousins husband who was facing murder charges (in kentucky). His trial started on Monday, at lunch time the trial was over and now it is up to the jury.
Just asking for alittle prayer, hoping for life w/out, not death row. I will post as soon as i know something... Thanks everyone.

I remember your post. :( That was very quick for a capital trial. I will be praying for your cousin and her husband. Please let us know.

It only took three days for my guy to get the death penalty.
Hang onto hope though, sentences can always get commuted, as ours did.
I hope for the best for you all.

3 days, yeah thats all it took. I was just as surprised. I was just on line reading about the case and his attorney rested today. It's not even my husband, and i am having a hard time dealing with this. My heart goes out to everyone who faces this. I will keep you posted.

Wow, goes to show how ignorant I am. I assumed since sentencing someone to death was such a grave thing (and always wrong in my judgement) that for some reason it would take longer, the trial on the guilt phase would be longer etc. Three days! I can't believe it. I'm so sorry that you are your family are going through this.
