A friend of mine is wanting to visit her guy in OSP and I couldn't remember what days they can visit on and when visits start, how long for etc. Also do you know how long they get for a special visit too? If she is there only one week how many visits could she get?

My visiting days are Wed-Sun, have to be there and sign in by 12:30, and visiting starts at 1pm. To be safe I'd call and make sure. Different levels are at different times & days I think.

I don't know. I would think that the other prisons and JB next to OSP would have "free" days on holidays, as for OSP I can't say. I never go on holidays. Figure they will be too crowded.

OSP visting hours are 8am to 5pm, you have to check in before 2. Visiting days are Wednesday through Sunday.
The amount of time you get per week depends on his level.
to get special visits or extended visits they have to request them from their case manager and get permission.
Some holidays are "free visits" I know memorial day was a free one but i didn't know til it was too late. the 4th of july is a free day for medium and minimum but not maximum
You need to call the OSP 918-423-4700 ask for the visiting office, give them his DOC number and they will be able to tell you what you need to know.
