charlie has wrote me a letter almost two weeks ago i haven't goten yet?

that does not surprise me.. I would call the prison and see if they have a hold on his mail for some reason. They trip sometimes so do not panic lets see what is going on at the unit first.

Sometimes Wayne's mail gets delayed - over a week at a time. No reason, just happens that way!

alright i know that he is ok i just don't understand what is taking the letter so long to and he did't get the papers i send out to him either to.

YOU MAY WANT TO SEND SOMETHING CERTIFIED-AS FAR AS HIS LTTER TO YOU-I HAD TWO LETTERS I MAILED TO RON ON THE SAME DAY, SAME MAILBOX EVEN-ONE HE GOT TWO DAYS LATER AND THE OTHER HE GOT ALMOST A MONTH LATER- GO FIGURE??

I agree, this is a common thing when dealing with the DOC. I had a letter that was delayed for 2 months.

I have found out that they kept it on him cause he wrote on the envlope of the back.

There was one time when Billy had sent me a letter. I waited 2 weeks and never got it. Billy said that he didn't get it back and the prison didn't keep it. So one day I went to the post office, and there it was. Billy didn't write the zip code clear enough so it went to Vermont instead of to me here in WV. And we are 15 minutes apart. HEEHEE!! It's funny now!!!

does anybody know how long it takes for an inmate to get his funds to be able to buy stamps once he got moved. Thanks to Shawna (love ya girl!) I found out Darrell is i USP in Terre Haute, IN. But I still haven't heard from him in over a month!!

I guess that would depend on how slow there are in posting their funds when money is sent to them Soraya. Also it could be if they have a commissary store where he can buy his needed things. They might not have envelopes, I know & have heard that happen before that the stores ran out of envelopes & the guys had to wait forever for them to get more.
Another thing could be depending on when he was transferred he may have missed his time to place his order for personal items & he has to wait until the next time. I am not sure if the Fed. prison system works like the state, but I thought to give you a couple ideas & hope 1 of them are right!
Still working on those "questions" you & I talked about over the e-mail, ok?

That doesn't surprise me either, I'm expecting money from Steven's family and have not yet received it. Of course I payed the regular bill but I didn't pay the MCI portion. Who knows when the next time I will talk to Steven.
