View Full Version : Thoughts on hubbys success...!!
reddawgsluv 05-15-2006, 06:20 AM Hi to all our pto family. Well, its been close to 6 months now since Jeff was released to come home. Our story is like many others. We were together before his incarceration, as bf-gf. While he was in county awaiting tranfer to prison, we were married. We had intended to marry before hand, anyway, and we thought it would be of help to him in prison if we were to make it legal. One of the biggest decisions that we made was for me to move to a different state while he was behind the wall. We felt that if we took ourselves to a different environment and started our lives over again that things would fall into place more effectively. I had lived in the same OHio town lifelong, but moved us to Va. and set up ho use, gained employment and set the future for our lives. I also did some ground work and obtained him potential employment upon his release. I brought him home the first of Jan. 06. He was able to obtain his driving privialges within a few short weeks and landed a job with a major construction company within the area. Things have been going up for the most part, every since. WE've had a couple minor set backs, he was laid off for about 6 weeks, but we managed to keep things together. He does everything he needs to do to keep himself free from the razor wires and such.. I am very proud of him. INterstate transfer went smoothly and he has his regular meeting with his po. THis person is impressed with his successes and is going to do the best to get him off his probation early. FOr those of you who are trying to get it together, dont give up. it can and will work with determination and love. Thanks to you all for being here for us. Have a great day.....:D

reddawgsluv 07-29-2006, 10:34 AM Thanks, guys...!! THings are still going great for Jeff and I. WE are very commited to this relationship and doing everything it takes to insure that our future together will be a magnificent one. He came out of prison with the attitude we were going to make this happen, and he was not going back For the first few months we found ourselves looking bask at the past, but no more, we are doing today what it takes to have a great future tomorrow. Our past is just that and we have decided not to look in the rear view mirror but to move on and keep buliding on our foundation of admiration, love and just all around full fillment....Have a great day.
