Thinkin' boutcha hurts my mind.
and makes me wonder, why?
but yet, I know why .. I know.
Thinkin' boutcha pains my heart so.
It causes it to feel as if it will burst within my chest.
I still can't understand, why ...
but yet, I know why ..

Thinkin' boutcha you chokes me up
I literally feel like I'm going to stop breathing.
I question God as to why ..
but yet I know .. .yeah, I know.

Thinkin boutcha makes me cry
tears pour from my eyes like rain
I begin to feel those feelings that cause me
to want to know, why ...
but yet I know. ..yep, I know

Thinkin' boutcha leaves me so lost
and my lips utter a breathy whisper .. why ..
I hear my mind answer ,,

and from my heart comes a confirmation
