today and they sent him to Mecklenburg. Does anyone know anything about it and how they handle phone calls and visitation. I am in another state and I have never been through this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know that Mecklenberg is intake/classification so he probably won't stay there permanent. Like Ceehatch said, it is best to call the facility and ask them when he is cleared for visits and what the rules are. Good luck!
