Hi my name is Angela, and I'm new here. My husband is at Bill Johnson's in Alva. We're supposed to be able to visit when he gets out of boot camp. Does anyone know how long it is? And who can visit him? We're just common law married but plan on having a ceremony when he gets home. Will they still let me see him?

I am moving this into the OKLAHOMA state forum so someone there who is more familiar with that facility might be of more help to you!

Howdy do from another Angela :D

I haven't known anyone at Johnsons so I don't know their specific rules. In general, most of the time unless you are immediate family (legal marriage) you won't be able to visit unless you've sent in the visitation form and been approved. Immediate family can many times get 'free' visits for a month while they wait to be approved. Hopefully someone will come along who knows this prison's specifics and if nothing else you can always call down there and ask. Congrats on finally getting somewhere that you can visit :)

Alva's visiting rules are different from every other place Since it is considered a drug free camp every visit must be approved ahead of time As far as how long it takes to get thur the basic part depends on the offender and how long it takes him to finish each step That camp does not allow that often

Thanks Doc! I had no clue that Alva was like that so it's good to know. Rocker, I hope he works through the steps with flying colors :)
