Though not truly a member of my family by blood, she is in my heart.

The article that I am attaching to this post is about the woman that helped me save my daughter from the streets. She was directly responsible for helping my daughter get through what was a very, very nasty divorce between my ex and I, and contrary to belief there is no way to keep the emotions from spilling over to the children. Pamela also helped diagnose my daughter's learning disability and with Pam's help I was able to get the proper treatment and attention for Sara.

Because of Pamela Hoffler-Riddick my Sara is now a young member of the Israeli Armed Forces and is pursuing both her education goals and her military goals. My Sara wants to hold a a Doctorate as her mother does and my first husband does whom she loves and admires as he were her natural father. She also wants to hold the same Naval Rank as her Grandfather did when he retired: Captain.

Without Pam none of this would have been possible for Sara.

Pam You were there for us, we are here for you!

Not as of yet. Last I heard the Judge was willing to let her remain free pending the outcome of the appeals. I just checked the BOP website and she has not shown up yet. So I think it is now down to a waiting game. If I here from her or anything in the local newsrags I will update you.

Wish I had some good news.

I feel for her, but I feel more for the poor drug addicts that don't stand a chance. The ones without any real support system be it family, friends or a good outreach drug program. I feel for the families who have lost loved ones to the hands of the big guys that control the evil trade as I do for those in authority who have fought the drug barons in South America but have been murdered.

A very stiff sentence I agree and hope she gets a lesser time with her appeal...not sure what grounds they are basing the appeal as she is obviously an intelligent woman who was aware of the implications and I can't say even I at one time may have not been able to resist the financial rewards for doing what she did.

drugs are as old as man...
and as cultivated as civilization...
we breath drugs when start a cars, we digest drugs when eat the food from the grocery store...
sugar kills more that crack...
and menthol kills more than methadone…
drugs are often not what we see, but what we choose to ignore…
