This is so sad! Please accept my apology if it should not be here.
"CHICAGO - A man who spent 12 years in prison for murder before new DNA testing exonerated him last year was killed by a hit-and-run driver as he walked on the city's South Side."

I just noticed that I stated that it was a death row inmate that was killed. I really think I need my head checked today! The article doesn't say that he was on death row. I think I should try to get more rest. I'm sorrry!

How terribly sad for him after finally having his freedom.
You know I am starting to have a "feeling" about some of these cases where an innocent man has been freed.
Off-hand I can't recall the name of the guy who was exonerated a couple (?) of years ago and has recently been accused of murdering that young reporter(?). She was found mutilated and in a burn barrell on the property where he worked. A used car parts - junk yard I believe. He also had a multi-million dollar case against the state.
Another case - Alan Gell has been arrested for sexual contact with a minor. May or may not be guilty.
I don't know but all of a sudden it appears to be some sort of questionable occurrances happening to these men. Of course it could be legit - but I have to wonder. Call me skeptical....but
