Prescription abuse growing problem

The death of two Oshkosh men from prescription overdoses last year brought a stern warning from a man who well knew the perils of abusing painkillers.

Mark Stanich of Kenosha read about the March 2005 overdose deaths of Michael Grygera and Michael Guyette Jr. and wrote a letter to The Northwestern from his Oshkosh prison cell. He wanted to tell the community that his sentence for illegally obtaining the drug was another real consequence of abuse.

great topic,just what I needed to see today.Michael Jackson,Anna Nocole Smith,her son Danny,and thousands more.Benzos and painkillers thease are real drugs no cutting or mixing the realdeal.Just because a Doctor gives them to you does not make them safe.Addiction and prescription drugs need to in the forfront of the war on drugs.
