Hey everyone I just joined...My husband is in RPF in Little Rock. We have our first visitation on Saturday. It will be the first time we have gotten to hug since December. The visitation is from 12 to 3 what time should i actually get there. I heard they search your car...etc.. So I want to give plenty of time to do whatever they need to do Can anyone help

I am sorry but I don't know anything about RPF in Little Rock...what is that? I've never heard of it. My finacee is in Tucker, I usually get there by 10:15 A.M. for our 12:00-4:00 visit.The sooner you get to your unit the closer to the front of the line to check in you are.It all depends are what you want...sometimes you can get there right at noon and get right thru other times you may sit for up to an hour.When his parents gowith me, they are to lazy to get up early so we are always at the noon mark, which I hate...I want my full four hours:)After you have been a time or two you will figure out a routine they fits you best.Good Luck...Kitty

:( Hello, is there any one out there who's husband or boyfriend are in RPF in Little Rock? My husband has been there since March 1st and his release date is September 7th. Right now they are on closed house which means no visits or calls. Does anyone know how long this is gonna last? And why this is happening

From what I have found out that Little Rock is still in closed house. I do not know how long they will be in as they will not give you a timeline. I hope that they get to get out of lock down soon as I have not seen hubby for 51 days now. I know that I am aggrevated for mine being punished for something that someone else caused. Hopefully we will be out of closed house this weekend and back to normal.

Just for yall that dont know RPF means(Regional Punishment Facility) It is a prison-Rehab. It is for people that got in troule for drugs. I have heard it is only for people that got cought for drugs. But as I have read some of the storys here that not be true. I have also heard it called DCC. I am waiting for a spot there. I wish I had more to tell you. When I find anything out I will post my information.If you could do the same I would really appreciate it.

RPF is not only for drug and alcohol rehab. It is for first time non violent offenders who qualify that they do not want to send to ADC. My husband was sent there on a probation violation over breaking and entering and hot check violations. You have to successfully complete a master treatment program in order to be released and stay current with the program that they come up for you. You are 270 eligible depending on how your paperwork from the court reads. 270 eligible means that you can complete the program in 270 days. My hubby was transferred in June and we have till March to go. I still have not been able to see him as they are on closed house right now. This is starting the third week of the closed house :blah: and I have not seen mine since June 10th and it is driving me crazy. I am moving this coming weekend and I called to find out how I go about giving them my new address and the guard tonight was rude and told me that all he knows is that they are not going to have visitations again this weekend. I still didn't find out the answer to my question so i guess I will call in the morning and find out from Day Shift. I just know that this closed house needs to go away and the ones that are causing it need to be punished and the ones that are doing what they are told need to be able to have their privelages back. But i guess that is the system for ya!! :blah: If anyone knows anything about the closed house in Little Rock RPF more than what I know please share. I only know from what hubby has written to me or what I have found out through various other people.
