I am close to the bay and hope to go every weekend! What are the visits like there...

Visits are awesome. I just went for my first visit with him two weeks ago. We hadn't seen each other for about 15 months, so they let me stay the whole 6 hours! You get to sit with your honey and hold his hand and talk and laugh and cry and wow. It's great. At the beginning of the visit I got to hug him tight for almost a minute and then we kissed and it was magic. They only talked to us once when he put his hand on my knee - they said he was 'rubbing' my thigh. But we just let it fly. We were sooooo happy. So visits are nice. If you go often though, sometimes they terminate visits, which is not as bad as it sounds. It just means that if it is crowded and more people want to come in, whoever came in first has to leave (first to come, first to go) so your visit may only be an hour or two. Be sure to get there SUPER early (like 7:30 am. Then you get processed and just wait around until like 9:00. Then they bring you in in groups of five and they call your boy and he comes in and HOORAY! It's good stuff. I hope you have fun! Maybe I'll see you there...
