IS IT REALLY POSSIBLE TO GET A PROVED TO VISIT IF I DIDN'T MENTION THAT I WAS DETAINED? THE REASON I DIDN'T MENTION IT WAS BECAUSE MY CASE WAS REJECTED AND I DON'T HAVE A RECORD, AS FAR AS I KNOW? NOW THAT I HAVE READ UP ON THIS I'M REALLY WORRIED, NOW!!! HELP???:(

this was my same concern,anyways i was just honest,but i sent mine in 3 weeks ago so im still waiting to find out wht happens

It is best to be honest because they (CDC) can and will find out if you have ever been detained. Even if the case was closed, rejected, etc., it doesn't matter. They have a data base that will give them all of that information. And they are looking for honest applicants. So if you lie and they discover that you did, you will be denied. Sorry. :(
