I have Verizon and I have never had a problem recieving calls and he has called from County and from CCC.

call the local phone company where the prison is located. Set up a REMOTE CALL FOWARDING phoneline ( you don't need a physical address) and have them foward your call to any phone you'd like. This will save you tons of money. Just make sure to ask for the long distance package. Your call will be much much cheaper. This is what PCO and Outside connections do.
