My father is an inmate at MCSP in CA. He suffers from end stage cirrhosis and other chronic problems. It took the prison almost 2 yrs to preform Dr. ordered tests for complaints of internal bleeding. I've been dealing directly with the prison for 3 yrs now and yet he continues to collapse and be taken from the facility to an outside hospital for what the prison staff called a "tune up". My father is not a vehicle he is a human being. They claim they are doing all they can, thats bull****.Under the 8th amendment a prisoner has rights to adaquate and nessasary medical care. Rights are being violated and a mans life is in danger due to their lack of whatever and nobody seems to be able to do anything about it. My father was not sentenced to death and without proper medical care he may not make his parole date. Any information will be greatly appreciated.Thnx.
