I am from Australia. And I have been writing to this guy in Snake River. Haven't heard from him for so long. Fallen in love hard but.

Things have been so very hectic for me these last 2 wks, I found this site when I was at my sister's in Portland on the 24th of oct. That's the day I was on my way to OSCI to see my Sweetheart, when I got a phone call from someone elses wife telling me he got shipped off to SRCI. I was devistated to the say the least. My brother is in his last stages of alcoholishm and getting out of the hos. and put into a resthome so I went ahead and went to portland and stayed the whole wkend. ANYHOww. I have had so much stuff going on landlord giving me 30 notice to move out daughter gettin mad at where we are moving to. not hearing from my honey.miscommunication/no communication made 2 wks almost unbearable for me so when he called well.. I lost it.now i feel bad, because I know it's a new environment for him. but when he called he said he felt lighter and free and hadn't felt this good ina long time. So I guess I was hoping for more compassion than 'don't flake out on me.' 'I don't need the added stress.' now i'm just confused. I've always felt a relationship should be a 2 way street.I'm sorry i needed to vent i guess and he is on his own rollercoaster. but it would have been nice to have his support. am i wrong?I love him so much, and I have forgotten how hard a prison relationship can be. my 1st hubby was an inmate in wash.st I met him when i was a baby just 18yrs old. I met my honey now on the streets in tacoma back in 1984. And HE went got locked up in 1986 I think. I haven't been w/him this whole time, just for alittle bit in 1989/90 then we parted we just got back together in april of this yr. been interesting to say the least. my life is one tangled ball of strings.but i'm trying. thank you for letting me vent. I just wanted to talk to someone who might understand alittle bit of how I feel. sincerely, surely

My sweet man is in SRCI, I would like to make friends on here who are going thru similar situations as I. I live all the way in Texas so Oregon is a big distance but no distance is too great for love.

I am new to this whole thing but I am willing to learn and live through this til my wonderful guy gets out...

I write to a guy in SRCI. I answered an ad and we've been writing for a few months now, and he's a lot of fun. It's platonic, but I have to say he's a really good looking bloke!

My fiance' is in SRCI and I'm LIVING for the day he comes home to me. I haven't seen him since Sept 07 and his release date is 12/14/08. Seems like forever. But, there is NO ONE else for me and I'd wait to the end of my life for him.

I can relate to feeling like I might as well be in another state. I'm in Salem and Ontario is across the state. It feels like it's across the UNIVERSE! If there is anyone who has a man in there and would be willing to share gas money, etc to let me ride along.. I'd be EVER SO THANKFUL!! I haven't seen him since he was sentenced in Sept 07. Peace...
