My brother was just sent to Tehachapi prison I would like to send him a money order so he can have money on his books. Can someone please advise me how to do this I know it has to be a postal money order but who do I make it out to?? How much $$ should I send? I'm a newbie to this so any advice about how to send $$ and how I can go about being able to visit and even packages would be greatly appreciated. I'm so confused so really any replies would be appreciated very much. Thanks

Hagans right you can send any type of money order just make sure his name is on the payable too line: and his cdc# as well and he will get it! Good luck!

Sorry it's JPAY.com its a company that lets you send money to the guys via the internet. I learned that they are still piloting the program so not all prisons are on board yet.

Well i think the old fashion way is better and that is the post office money orders u know at lease u can track it if u have 2....

Who do you make the money order out to? I know that it should be the inmate
but the last time that I sent money I was told it had to be made out to the prison.

No never make it out to the prison...... Make sure it is payable to the inmate for example... John Does T-000000 then put yuour name as the sender or purchaser!!
