I sent Che some writing supplies and they sent them back I sent him a legal pad, 20 envelopes, 20 stamps, and 5 pencils and they sent it back what did I do wrong :mad: are they not allowed to get this kind of stuff in reception? Damn CCI they are stating to anger me......ughhhhhhhhh!!!! I just want my baby to have stuff to write to me with. Can some one explain to me what I need to do or did wrong

He cannot get blank paper or pencils in reception. You can send 20 envelopes and stamps (or better yet stamped envelopes). You might want to send him some money for his books so he can get paper and pencils through the store.

Trust me... I know how you feel. Just hang in there.

I Know At Cim You Can Send Pencils, Paper And All That Stuff You Said While Your Honey Is In Reception, But Ya Know Every Prison Is Different. I Think Their Is A Number You Can Call To Find Out. I Know One Of These Ladiez Has It,too. They Are Very Informative.

Items you CAN send to CCI:

:) Postal Stamps (40 stamps or 40 pre-stamped envelopes)
:) Photos- only 10 (no larger than 8x10)
:) Greeting cards (plain, no foil, glitter, metal springs, etc.)
:) Letters
:) Money Orders/Checks- (with the inmates name and CDC # listed on the check or M.O.)
:) Anything on the “Approved” vendor list, on each vendor’s website (for quarterly/special purchases, CCI specificly)



Items you CANNOT send to CCI:

:( Pens/Pencils
:( Binder Paper
:( Frontal Nudity Photos
:( Phone Calling Cards
:( Stickers, Tape, or Glue- None on/inside ANYWHERE

Yes CCI is a trip i send my boo blank and line paper but i put designs on them i send 10 envelopes at a time and put the stamps on my self i try different things so my boo gets things ..........

Thank you ladies :D now I have something new to try........ one more question ....Can they make calls while in reception? Oh yeah! one more thing I thought if you put the stamps on them (envelopes) they don't get them because maybe you're trying to sneak in drugs or something like that?:confused: I read it somewhere on another post is this true?

No calls while in reception and he could be there for awhile. My man was in reception for 3 months before he got moved to another prison. I can finally get calls. He needs to sign up for them so they are not frequent (every other week) and he only gets 15 minutes...

Well I hope he doesn't get moved too soon, I do but I don't because then I have to approved for visits all over again right. I have my ticket bougt and everything for May and he will be there 3 months this May, I'm going to have to give his counselor a call and find some things out thanx for your help

Yes i agree with whatnow dont worry it may not be his fault b cuz the prison is a trip when it comes to the mail,packages,phones,visits so AlsgirlAlways just be patient i'm sure he will get at u as soon as can.........
