Well, just reporting in... we've had three friends/acquaintances in the Alabama system go up the last three Mondays, respectively. All of them were denied with reset... but it was the first hearing for all three of them (and I think at least one of them was a violent offender, not sure tho). While it's a bummer, it was sort of expected and we remain hopeful about Brian's (fourth) hearing, whenever THAT will be...

And man when they got the automated system working again, did they get it working! One of those hearings above was today and already the decision's in the automated system... Fred the Phone Voice is really on his toes now!!

Oh my - I'm sorry about that! I'm not realy impressed with that board, but will save the bulk of my comments for post-hearing. I will never, ever understand their reasoning, but then again I'm not from Alabama (I'm from God's Country ;) ).

I happened to catch the one chick's made-for-tv movie on Lifetime. It aired Sunday and Marilu Henner plays Ms. Conn-McReady (I think that's her name). There's something very, very wrong about her being on the parole board.

Jeez Louise, I hope they're having a good hair day on the 23rd! I keep having nightmares about the hearing.

Oh yea - and Yay Fred! :) He must not be originally from Alabama either! Ha! Ha!

You are gonna be just fine on the 23rd, girlfriend. Remember (and keep reminding yourself) - the absolute WORST that can happen is they say no. And with any luck - that ain't gonna happen!!! :)

REMEMBER!! Not everybody that has went up for parole lately has been denied, most have been APPROVED!!:yes:
We were one of the lucky ones and I get to go pick Scott up first thing in the morning!! I am so excited! We will be thinking of you when you have your hearing, so dont worry! and please let us know how things go! Gonna try and not go insane watching the clock and waiting on time to leave to go pick up my hubby, probably wont sleep til i get him home and then probably wont sleep then either!!!:dance: :dance:
