Today, you are given a million dollars - cash. No taxes, no strings. What would you do with it? Take a trip? Buy a house? Buy a pardon for a loved one (that's my plan! :) ). Be creative - you've just become a millionaire! :)

Hire lawyer Gerry Spence to clear a couple of our friends and since my husband is in for a parole violation (will be home soon), I would move the family to Europe (France or Spain) and live the good life as ex patriots.

TrulyKath, you cracked me up with that one! I think I would love to get politically involved and help educate the public as to what really goes on in the system! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the USA, I just feel there's room for improvement. Til you are personally effected, you don't really know what goes on. I would be sure and leave some left to help PTO keep going!!!!

Pay off all my bills (luckily I have only two), give my parents enough to buy a new house and new cars. Buy myself a new house with lots of land and a huge swimming pool. Get my grandmother out of the nursing home and have her with me in my new house. Invest the rest!

What would you do?

Mrs. Vins
06-11-2005, 07:12 PM
I would pay what I needed to to get Vin out and I would have his custom Silver Supertail waiting for him when he got there. I'd also get a couple more bikes for me and the two of us. I would pay off all my bills and buy 20 acres or so near my work and build us a huge home equipped for all the babies we're going to have. Then invest, invest, invest!! Oh, I would also put away money so my 6 yr. old niece can go to college for four years.

My bills would be no longer existant... I would set up a trust fund for my kids..... pay back my parents all the money which i owe them..... buy 10 houses to renovate and then sell and reap in on the profits..... build our dream home..... buy a new car, and a classic vintage for my hubby (shelby mustang of course)...... save the rest and watch the money grow from interest.

So there's my plans, now who's willing to give me a million smackers?

I would bribe the judge, the doc and any other system I had to, to get my grandson out. Then, I would kick his --- and get him on the straight and narrow. Then, buy houses for all my kids, give all grandkids savings accounts, put enough in a C>D> for something for my great granddaughter I am raising, to make sure she was taken care of, if I was gone.
Pay bills off, buy a house in the country, buy and repair old houses to make GOOD half-way houses and shelters for kids. Then I would probably be broke. LOL

Wow, a million dollars...........

I'd get my baby a good attorney because that's all he really needs is someone to go through his paperwork and sift through all the bugs.

I'd buy some land and build a house for us, one for my mom if she wanted or pay hers off, and one for my son and his family.

I'd give some to my brothers to help them out.

I'd buy a car! I'd buy some new furniture! I'd buy some new clothes!

I'd buy one of those high end RV's to travel the US like my youngest son and I always talk about doing.

I'd definately invest some money so I could live off the returns.

I might even invest in real estate to live off the income or proceeds from that and keep reinvesting.

I'd buy my daughter a new car.

Hmmmm, am I out of money yet???:D

I would give a lot to a charity for children, or maybe start my own foundation and raise more money to help kids in need. I would buy a nice house here and do something nice for my sisters and nieces and nephews. Then pay off any bills and invest the rest so I can make money while vacationing at my second home in a carribean island, soaking up the sun.

Wow, did that start me daydreaming. First I'd buy me and my boys a house, this apt stuff bites, umm I'd buy a nice car , I'd buy my momma a house, send a ton to PTO, and would open a halfway house now, oh yeah, I'd get my teeth straightened.

Get out of debt, give each of my sisters some money, give some to charity, savings for retirement so that I could travel, buy my daughter a home, secure her release from the TDCJ via lawyer or whatever it takes -- set her up with her own business. $1M isn't really enough!! How about investing and doubling my money? Yeah, baby.

If I had a million dollars I would open an adoption agency that would not cost you anything except a promise of pure love and care by the new parents. This would also have a totally free medical facility for anyone in need. I would also build a monster of a building that could house the homeless or anyone else that would provide yummy food, warm clothing and a lot of love and faith for as long as they needed.:)

First I would hire the very best team of attorneys to get my guy off DR. No more PD. Do the same for another man that I know who did not get a fair trial.
Then I would set up a trust for my son, giving him most of it.
