View Full Version : Barbecues at Eastern angel1104 04-17-2006, 12:10 AM Hello! I was wondering if anyone can give me some information about the barbecues at Eastern. Thanks Angel stormierainn 04-17-2006, 10:19 AM hi not realy sure, i know at the max no. the anex i think so. on frps yes iw ish i knew more PrincessTNY 04-17-2006, 11:33 AM If you're referring to the Annex, they begin on the 6th of May and last until the end of October. There are 4 grills outside of the visiting room and they provide grill utensils for us to use. They also have tables outside! It's really nice. There are regulations on what you can and cannot bring in though: no glass (includes glass-lined thermoses), no loose ice (must be bagged before processing), no meat with bones longer than 4 or 5 inches, no sugar packets (only cubed), and all forks and knives brought in must be pliable. You can bring food that you cooked at home! My baby can't wait. He ordered Japanese food for the 6th...If you have any other questions, just let me know. Hope this helped. lilluv117 04-17-2006, 06:11 PM Are these for FRPs or for regular visits? Either way that sounds really cool! Manzanita 04-17-2006, 08:43 PM this is for regular visits? wow! angel1104 04-17-2006, 09:25 PM Yea I am referring to the annex. Thanks for the info Princess. Can I bring up drinks also? Last Saturday I went to visit and we sat outside because the room was so full. It was so nice to be outside with him. The seats outside aren't that confortable i wonder if we could bring a blanket and sit on the grass. I don't think they will allow that. I can't wait to be able to eat real food and not that vending food junk. I think it will also be cheaper. If I think of anything other questions I'll ask you. Thanks again. Angel PrincessTNY 04-18-2006, 02:53 PM Yes, you can bring drinks like cans of soda (no glass & no foil openings on soda or juice whatever that means...). And no, you cannot bring a blanket to sit on the grass. Maybe I'll see you there one day Angel! I usually go up every Saturday, but I didn't this past one. My baby told me that they let everyone outside. Maybe they'll do that this Saturday too! PrincessTNY 04-18-2006, 03:19 PM And yes...this is for regular visits from May through October! Nice, huh? Manzanita 04-18-2006, 07:42 PM very nice ...makes it a lot easier ;) lilluv117 04-18-2006, 08:28 PM Wow! That's so nice! I wish they'd do that everywhere. :) |
