Ok-So what is it exactly men do at CCC? Do they eat all day? Play with toys? LOL no just kidding, but really what is the purpose of them being there? Do they get more privliages then someone at at regular state prison? My man just got their and he is in Lassen Yard.

I'm planning to visit Easter Sunday-anything I should know?

I don't know about everyone but my man was sent up there because of fire camp training. I know that they only get like one phone call a month but if they have a privilage card they get like two a week!!!! But they have to have a job first because my husband has a privilage card but he is on locldown on cascade yard so he hasn't been able to call. He says that he doesn't really like it up there because they is a lot of gang activity. When he first got there since he wasn't from a gang he says they would just act like if he wasn't there when everyone else would be cooking soups or something he wouldn't get offered anything. But now he got transferred to a different dorm and he likes it better and gets along with everyone, I got to meet 2 of his friends on our first visit:D

CAMP REALLY ISNT THAT BAD, MY MAN GOT THERE IN NOV OF LAST YEAR AND GOT A JOB (TRAINER/)COACH) AND HE HIMSELF GETS A LOT OF TIME OUTSIDE AS LONG AS THEYRE NOT ON LOCKDOWN.AND LIKE SANCHEZ06 SAID IF THEY HAVE A PRIVILIGE CARD THEN THEY GET TO CALL AT LEAST TWICE WEEKLY.IT REALLY WOULD BENEFIT IF THEY TRIED GETTING A JOB THAT WAY WHEN THERE REALLY ISNT ANY MOVEMENT DUE TO LOCKDOWN THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE JOBS CAN STILL MOVE AROUND MORE THAN THOSE WHO DON'T. AS FAR AS THE GANG SITUATION WELL I'LL TELL YOU RIGHT NOW I'D RATHER HAVE HIM THERE THAN AT ANY OTHER PRISON. YES GANGS ARE EVERY WHERE MY MAN WAS HEAVILY INVOLVED ON THE OUTSIDE HE'S PUT IN ABOUT 9 YRS IN THE SYSTEM:( BUT I THANK GOD THAT HE'S CHANGED MAN AND HE KEEPS A LOT OF THE YOUNGSTERS ON CHECK BECAUSE AT TIMES THEY WANT TO GET CRAZY W/SOMEONE OR SOMEONE WITH THEM (RAZA) AND MY HUSBAND USUALLY WILL BE THE MEDIATOR. HE'S SEEN WAY TOO MUCH VIOLENCE AND HE JUST WANTS TO DO HIS TIME AND COME HOME TO ME AND HIS KIDS. SO THE BEST THING IS....PRAYER:)
