Does anyone know if Lewis is on lockdown again? I talked to my guy last Saturday and he said they had been on lockdown off and on all week and then we got rudely disconnected after only five minutes or so.

Also when they are on lockdown, they don't let them go to class do they? My guy really likes his classes but I bet they don't let him go...

Oh...they better not be on lockdown the ONE day I have to see him after flying 2000 miles. I will be pissed.

Nope, they weren't on lockdown this afternoon, at least the Unit my hubby is in wasnt.

I just talked to my guy 5 minutes ago and they have been on lockdown for three days. A guy was stabbed and then in a seperate incident, an officer was beat up. But they are off now...hopefully will stay that way for awhile.

Lewis has a lot of units so you should say which you are asking of as there are 6 different ones I believe... at Lewis prison...

My guy says that the guys in this unit are so unruly that they often go on lockdown. Some time for hours sometimes for days. I hate it but I have just learned to accept it so I am always delighted when he calls so that I know he is alright. I can't wait until he gets transferred to a different unit but he says he will be there for a total of 2 years so we have 18 months to wait. :blah:

well they do not get to do nothing...my man was there at the last hostage situation and they were locked up for days......i drove for 2 hours and told to go home thank god he is out of there now..........good luck.......hope you have a great visit............rebecca

Just talked to my fella today. He said that they have been on lockdown everyday this week. Short of help. I know I talked with oneof the CO's and he said that a whole lot of the CO's have been calling in sick. And rumor has it that since the Border Patrol is planning on hiring 600 new positions that more and more will be leaving. I sure wish I knew the answer and how to get it. I do know that better pay would help with the moral. I miss our phone calls when there is lockdown but I just sit and write a letter to him just like I would talk to him and he enjoys that. I have become quite an avid letter writer since I fell in love. :)
