Well the fact that you are in the CDC system already is a very good thing.. but from what I have been told they are going in the order the requests were received in other words if that is true it doesn't matter!! Sad huh?? and complaining hahahha.. they laugh they have EXCUSES for EVERYTHING!!!

3 months??? Is that for both ISP & CVSP? And is that for family visits, regular visits or both? My man is in CVSP & I have not seen him almost 4 months. He got there on 3/15 from Delano & was transfered before I got approval there. I was advised to submit a 2nd visitors form by one of the counselors at CVSP & did so 2 weeks ago. I have not received notice that I am not eligable. Also, what's with the phone system at CVSP? We don't have a land line & my man use to call on a calling card. We've had no problems in the past, but that was when he was in county. He wrote & said something about MCI putting a block on my line. Can they do that? I just want to see him or hear his voice again. 4 months is already too long to have to wait another 3 months. He'll be ready to get out by then, we have a release date of August 31. Thanks for any info on this.

Hello all,
I am not new to this site, but I have a bad habit of forgetting to sign in; thank goodness for auto sign in when you log onto your home page.. lol. Here is the answers to your questions... ISP and CVSP are 2 different prisons, so there approvel thing could be different. If you are approved at one prison you are approved anywhere your man goes. Its just a safe thing to submit another form, just incase you happen to have gotten lost between delano and The desert CVSP.. ISP and CVSP doesnt do phone calling cards, (WISH THEY DID LESS EXPENSIVE) everything is collect from MCI. Well, since you dont have a landline, and you cant recieve collect calls any other way; I know there is 2 types of other ways you can go. Im not to familiar with them, but if someone else has information please feel in the blanks. I know PCO and theres another one not sure what its called. Theres also a section on phones on the first main page of PTO. Its a prepaid thing. Sorry couldnt be more of an assistance to you on this one. MCI can put a block on your home(landline) if it reaches a certain limit; im not sure what the limit is, but ive heard its 100dollars! Dont qoute me, but if its different please correct me... I hope this helps...
