1) I know you can send books from publishers. Can they be sent directly from family too?

2) other than the big packages that you send 4 times a year, can anything else be sent?

3) Zack signed a plea for a 20 year sentence, I know that he gets no good time with that long a sentence, but does the 10-11 months he spent in county count towards his sentence?

The answers to your questions

1) no, the books have to be sent from the publisher like amazon, books a million, etc..

2)no, You can send him stamps, you can check with the facility about sending paper and envelopes..they will let them go to the commissionary (store) once a week.

3)yes, the time he spent in county will count.

Lori, my guy was at Limestone for 6+ years... they are pretty flexible with some things about mail. You can send in paper (go with loose leaf just to be sure, I think they may have changed regarding legal pads), envelopes, and ink pens. The ink pens, however, have to be ones with totally clear barrels - not even with the rubber finger grips - can be hard to find, but they are out there. The Bic Cristal pens will pass.
