Does anyone know the current amount of time off for RDAP at the camp at Morgantown?

Currently the average time off is 8 to 8.5 months. But each person gets evaluated individually.

The time off that you may be eligible for can vary from day to day. There are factors to consider such as a large group of inmates arriving that have shorter sentences than you. It seemed like every time I got close to getting in the next class, an airlift would arrive with 30 inmates and a large majority qualified for RDAP. That pushes a lot of people back on the waiting list. It can be very frustrating.

The time off you receive depends solely on how soon you get in the program and if you are eligible for early release.

I heard that FCI Morgantown's RDAP (drug program) is fairly short lasting only 4 months or so...can anyone let me know if I am recieving the correct information? I would also like to know if any other facilities offer shorter drug programs. My boyfriend is getting accepted to partake in the drug program and I wanted to get more information on the types of program out there so that we could possibly request one...i was looking at FCI morgantown in West virginia. Any help would be most appreciative...:)

as far as I know it all depends on how many people are due to be released before you. they even bring inmates from other facilities so they may get in before someone who has already been in Morgantown waiting a few months. My fiance got in with only 18months remaining so, IF he would have stayed in he would have only gotten 3 months off.

What is RDAP...my husband got sentenced to 48 months and he left last Friday! How much actual time do you think he will do? My brother in law got sentenced to 24 months and he did 6 months and 3 months in a halfway house? My kids miss their dad terribly...HELP

do all inmates go to a halfway house after leaving? Also if so do they get out before there release date to go or do they go after. My husband got 15 months and he is doing one day shy on 13 months. I am just hoping he can get out sooner.

they all go and it is before the release date..usually 10% of their time is how long they spend in a half way house...although it can be up to a year according to the second chance act...he will have a team meeting and they will give him all the info..his sentence is short, I would imagine that he should have a team meeting pretty soon.
