I received a letter from my husband today. He said that he is hearing rumors about getting off lockdown in a few weeks. Maybe the first weekend of May. How do these rumors start and are they usually true?

I would not believe any rumors cause they are usually false! Believe me not even staff know when the inmates will be getting off lockdown. I think we will see some movement with the Southerners, Blacks and Whites by May.

thank you. When you say movement you mean that they will be all off lockdown or only some groups? Do you know why some inmates are off lockdown in B yard. He told me to put money in someone else's books so he can get some stuff from store. But that person is in the B yard also. He said that the guy had been on lockdown but was now off. confused:

Yea my movement I mean coming off of lockdown. The “others” (who I believe consist of Asians, American Indian, and some other groups) are not on lockdown because they were not involved in any of the incidents on the yard. Maybe this person who he wants you to put the money on is an “other”.

I received a letter from my boyfriend today and he said the “word” is Northerners will have visits this weekend. Even if they don’t have visits this weekend hopefully they will the next. Good luck to all the other ladies whose visits are affected by the lockdown.
