I have 19 tattoos... and YES!! HELL YES I have my husbands name tattooed on my ring((wedding)) finger...his nick name BIG as hell on my Right lower leg((the WHOLE lower leg))with Hibiscus flowers since he is Fijian and my lower back has tribal going into a design that says BVN!!! so you know the business.. I am for it all the way...
And the reason I decided to get his is because we have been together for 15years and I know that he is the ONLY one that I am gonna marry, and that is that...
SO, as you can see :thumbsup: to tattooing for me, WAIT!! I am against it if you have NOT been with the person for a long time, and if he is just a Bfriend.. I think the jinxing thing is TRUE.. because EVERYone I know who did it with a Boyfriend, they are NOT together now.. :mad: NOT to scare you, but think about it LONG and LONGER.. before getting the INK.. AND BE carefulll too, do research on the place and watch everything they do.. I mean I am a nurse and it is NOT cool how anyone can claim to have a license..So on that note..

The whole tatoo issue is very dificult but like you said if you and your man aren't for life don't even bother because that whole "put a mans name on you thing" isn't a joke I seriously think it is a straight up CURSE and you don't take it serious then go for it ladies pero alrato when your man is gone and you have some fools name across your a** then you will be regretin it :( As for me I personally will not put his name on me but I have decided to get somthjing that symbolizes our love for one another. He** Ya I have my babes name tattooed on my body. I have his name on my left leg abovoe my ankle and on my lower back it says both our names and the date we got married! He has my name big and pretty on his neck! Thats right we have no shame when it comes to our love for eachother! Well girlys I personally do not have his name on my body but it is not because I did not want his name on me. I do not have any tattoos and I am chicken to get any. I have recently thought of getting a tattoo but we shall see if I ever get the nerve to go though it. Maybe in a few months when we get married.

Like I said it is PERMANENT....and I had already had several of them... And for our marriage my gift was the BIG one on my leg.. HE does NOT have my name and I never cared if he did that.. I told him I dont do things for him to follow suit.. IF I love him I dont need him to love me because I love him... We are individuals... And that may sound crazy... Thought I'd join in. I only have one tat. I'm planning on getting another one which I plan on putting my kids name and/or birth date within it. My kid's been the most important part of my life. He's been in a modified prison for the last 9 months not to mention the jail time he's done in the last few years. My kid will be released next week, so this way I'll always have a part of my kid with me wherever he goes.

I have my husbands nickname on my chest, his sign on my back, his initials on the back of my neck, his full full name on my lower back and our last name on the inside of my wrist. He also has mine all over including my initials on his neck. We did it to show our love, remind each other of our bond, for life, and just because we wanted to. I will never cover them up, no matter who Im with because I will never have the respect or love for any other man. We have been threw so much together and neither of us has family, just each other, so he is my life and I am his. I love my tatoos!!!!! I glow when I look at them every time.

I got my husbands name on the back of my neck and its my only one. He has no tattoos and said he would get my name... but only after he gets out. Well my husband has me on him and i have him on me, i think the reason why i got it is of course cuz i love him and know this is forever but also it made me feel closer to him since i know hes not here for a while, it was my own security in knowing that i do love him and will be with him forever no matter what the distence between us is.
