Hey girlys I am curious. Have any of your families ever given you a hard time for standing by your man while he is incarcerated. When my man first went in it was so hard because I was getting calls from family members telling me how stupid I am. They were actually pretty cruel. There was so many nights when I would just cry myself to sleep. I was not only dealing with the love of my life going away but I was dealing with family members who did not understand. And that really hurt. For a while I even stayed away just so I would not have to deal with any of there crap. After a while I realized that this was no solution cause my family is a huge part of my life. And I did really miss them. So I just had to stand my ground with them. But now they see that I have stood by my man for so long, I have stopped hearing the shit talking. Now they have accepted it.

It was a blessing in that aspect for me, my mom ((who is my best friend)) has stood behind me with my hubby forever... Now it was easier because I have been with him since 91.... Now, I get all the Bull from other ppl. Like guys will ask if I am married and I am very honest and then the BIG question... So like I tell everyone, the ONLY thing that my husband CAN NOT do for me that these other couples do is SEX!!! But that is PHYSICAL.. and like I tell them my husband gives me the best sexxx ever... Because it is NOT physical it is mental... and emotional... and spritual...
Just because he is incarcerated doesn't make him less of a man, that is my BIGGEST arguement.. I talk to him. get support from him, he takes care of me, I get things for holidays, bdays, anniversaries, and Just because.. We watch the same shows..We have a TRUE connection, a bond!!!! And that scares society....
I guess what it all boils down to is this.... LOVE, LOYALTY and LAUGHTER...
PPL are afraid of what they DONT know, and this is where we educate them... Some of our friends and family would give us Sh!!! even if they were NOT locked up... IT Is the DEVIL...trying to use your family against you, to make you leave the one you are with... Faith!!! you already know... Continue to keep the Lord above all and pray for constant favor and understanding, and watch how quickly things turn around...And then they will be going shopping with you for him, helping you send him things, sending and signing cards...Girl it is true, my mom does all that, and it is Awesome... and hey if NO ONE in your immediate fam bam understands...YOU GOT YOUR CCI/PTO FAMILY...ALWAYS

I used to hear stuff from people but I just turn my ear because only him and I know what we really got! Its all about stayin strong and tru to the game girlfriend. GOD gives us choice's and we deal with the consequences! I love my boo and I wouldnt even leave him if he had Life!
