In a recent discussion here in forum, the general consensus was that parole lately has been very lax in coming for home visits before the inmates gets out. The norm these days seems to be that the P.O. doesn't call or come out until the day or a couple days after the inmate reports.

As for you and him getting your party on with a drink. I would highly suggest you not encourage him to break his conditions. One broken condition leads to another broken condition, and..... Well, you know the rest. At best, find some other way to celebrate that doesn't violate the conditions of parole. Even having alcohol in the home he resides in is a violations of parole.

I think that it also depends on his parole conditions, sometimes alcohol is not a part of his conditions but I would really suggest that you double check on that because you're right, you don't want to jeopardize his freedom.

Denver never had a restriction on alcohol, but remember, and addict is an addict and if they can't handle dope, they probably can't handle booze either. And the lowering of inhibitions when drinking can (and does) lead to other, more dangerous things. IF there is any way to convince him to stay both clean and sober, it's the safest wat to go.

HI There, most likely he will be sent back to the county where he last resided. About 150 days before his release date he will fill out a 611 form and then it will be sent to the region where he last resided.

about drug testing, they will test if he has prior drug or alcohol use. I just recently got myhusbands conditions, and its a standard template with each section. I am going to put them up today. This is the form that each person signs when they have conditions, so you will be able to see the part about drug testing....

I promise guys, I will have them up tonight... I am guessing it will get alot of hits because I see alot of people asking about conditions of parole.

I have a lot of questions also. My husband will be getting out in about 6 months andhe seems to think that they will not let him parole home to our house???? I don't understand or knwo why they would prefer for him to go elsewhere, but since he has to fill out that 611 soon...I am sure we will be finding out???
