my boyfriend juat got transferd to lac prison lancaster he was arrested mar 23 06. first he was in irc then mens central jail and he just got moved to lancaster prison tolday. i havent talked to him since the 22 does anyone have any info on lancaster prison??? i sent a letter to him las week at pitchess if he didnt get it will the mail it back to me or send it to the prison he is at.also how do i find out the cdc number his bed number dorm and id number. im going crazy i miss him so much. i moved on the 22 so he dont have my new number or address

if you sent him maik at wayside, it eventually will get forwarded to him. But it does take time. My husband was moved and then he got mail like a month later that I had sent to him when he was at county. Have you heard from your man yet?


I can give you info about visiting there, people line up at like 6 am to get in and get a pass, they do passes in groups of 60. that is one bad thing about that place, you gotta get there early or dont go till like 10 am

Thanx everyone i still havent talked to him but at least i have the address to where he is. I sent him a letter along with some paper envelopes and stamps im in texas and he is in cali so i pray that it gets to him soom. i want to hear from him so bad its almost been a month. thanx again everyone

Glad you have now gotten his address to write to him.....Just an FYI.....the mail you sent him @ Pitchess may not get forwarded on to him at Lancaster. It may eventually returned to you....I had sent my man mail to Twin Towers (also L.A. County Jail) and he went to North Kern State Prison before he got that mail. L.A. County returned it to me, unopened, with "RELEASED 1-11-06" on the front of the envelope......:shrug:

That is because they are "released" from county into the prison's custody. I know... it misleading and gets your hopes up that he'll be knocking on the door. :o

No girl.... if you call the prison and ask for R&R who is responsible for packages and mail, they are very rude! Just be patient girl!!! You can do it!
