It really depends on whether its a a first offence and where it happens. Some areas are less harsh on them. Very few get time the first time. There are many that have been arrested many times and have served very little time. So if its the first time in lets say Toronto, the chances are she will get probation or even less. There is not enough room in the jails to encarcerate all the prostitutes that get picked up each night. They usually spend a night in jail and get bailed out and if they are a repeat offender there sentence would be minimal.
