I was so excited that I was able to get an appointment to see my honey this Sunday. It's been over 5 months since I've laid eyes on him and I haven't heard his voice for nearly 3 months.

Well, I knew it was too good to be true. I just got a letter from my man saying that he was being moved to Jamestown (Sierra Conservation Center) and that he thinks that he will be leaving on Wednesday... today! I want to cry, its just not fair!

Please, please, please pray that his transfer is not until next week so I can get my visit with him on Sunday before he leaves. I wont be able to make that 6 hour drive for quite sometime.

AlsGirlAlways I know how you feel I used to have to make a 7 hour trip before my man got transfers to CCI. And it was so hard but worth the drive. I still have to make a pretty long trip but CCI was closer for me. Of course I will be Praying for you because this visit I know will help both of you guys. Stay strong and I will be praying for you always.

I am praying for you, But PRAISE the LORD he is going to FIRECAMP..that is a time reducer and it is better than CCI... So continue to hold on, and that 6hour drive will be worth it in the end.. Believe me.. and again you are in my prayers... Diamond415 sends hers tooo. she in unable to reply at the moment but I am in contact with her, and she says STAY STRONG!!!

Thank you everyone. He was transferred to SCC this morning. I'm so disappointed that I wont be able to see him this weekend, but at least I should be able to get a phone call soon. You all have reminded me that things happen for a reason, I just need to stay strong to let God's plan play out.

BVN & Diamond - you are so right! The fire camp will be better and God willing will bring him home sooner. You ladies are wonderful, thank you for seeing the silver lining.

I did say a prayer for you but like you said as well as all of us things happen for a reason! Some reasons are not for us to know about! Well good luck, firecamp is a good thing.... Shoot my husband tried to get to firecamp for 3 years and then right before he got endorsed he got into trouble! So he never did make it to Sierra Conservation Center! Stay Strong girl!!!~!!!
