Hey everyone, I just wanted to know if anyone else is having problems with thier mens mail taking forever to get to them! I sent pictures to my husband 2 weeks ago and he still hasnt gotten them, they werent bad just pictures of our son, and me. He claims he only got one letter last week when i write every day! He says the mailroom is all messed up and I beleive it because last week I got mail from susanville that was addressed to someone else completely in a different city! This is very irritating as my husband loves getting mail and i make sure to get something out everyday! He tells me I should call and complain, do you think that would help??

It might I was thinking of the same thing because my husband also told me that he is getting like 5 letters at a time instead of 1 everyday. He said that he gets about a week's worth of mail in like one day. Which sucks because thats all he looks forward to each day. And also I haven't recieved a letter in like 1 week when I usually get a letter everyday:angry: But this past week I got a letter dated from the 23 on the 30th. :angry: Well, if you want to call I will call today and see what they say.

I agree with the mail. I am mailing from Oxnard, CA to Cascade Yard and when I spoke to him he hadn't received anything in a couple of weeks. Maybe they are short staff I don't know. But he has been getting mail slow also.

my mail goes to h.d.s.p. and my man said it usual takes about two weeks for him to get his mail. cause they do open it and inspect it.i hate to think that they read the private things we write about.and they get to see the pictures we send to our loved ones. but we can't do a thing about it.even if i write a letter daily it sucks cause it takes them that long to give him his mail. i usual get a letter from him in about three to four days, after he sends it. that if the mail goes out right away...

I was told there are currently only two people working in the mail room at CCC. So it is taking a long time for inmates to receive our mail. I have been getting my mail quick.

Well no wonder it takes them so long to get mail to inmates, IM sure there is a ton of mail coming in,I always get my letters pretty quick, I usually get a letter everyday. He makes sure to write me a letter every day. But the mail doesnt go out on the weekends so there might be a day where I dont get mail, but hes telling me it takes4ever for him to get my letters...

I have always had mail issues at ccc, my man got a letter a week ago that I sent back in June,not sure whyit took that letter so long to get to him, but yes the mail there is always very slow.

My husband has been there since July. He gets whatever I send him within a week or less. But I have noticed that his mail is now taking longer to get to me. If he were to write to me today, then for some reason it may not go out until Friday, then I won't get it until next Mon or Tues.

HAVE NO FEAR BOND IS HERE..I HAVE DECIDED TO GO VOLUNTEER IN THE CCC/MAILROOM AND BE OF SERVICE....ANYONE WANNA JOIN ME..IM SURE WE COULD HELP THEM..AND BUST ALL THOSE LETTERS OUT REAL QUICK!
Seriously, ive had so many mail issues since mikes been there i cant count! i just got aletter today postmarked yesterday and i live 12 hours away! yet his letter was dated the 18th of sept! go figure... then another big huge envelope( a drawing) postmarked the 25th..yet written on the 21st- what in besheshus? he did tell me a few letters back he heard they have been holding outgoing mail;..what runormill it came from i dont know..but thats obviously true..maybe not intentionally with only 2 staff and a kazillion letters..but its obviously a BIG NASTY BACKED UP TOILET........ AS FOR MY LETTERS SAME THING I MAIL 2 -3 A WEEK..BIG OL LONGYS AND SOMETIMES HE GETS THEM ALL AT ONCE..SOMETIMES DAYS APART..ECT...SOMETIMES WEEKS LATER? WE DONT HAVE A PHONE SO IT MAKES OUR BACK AND FORTH LETTER W/??? VERY COMPLICATED AND CONFUSING!

I Mailed To Seperate Envelopes Yesterday A Halloween Card With Pics Of The Kids And Another Envelop With 2 Cards For Him To Send To The Kids... Do U Think He'll Get It By Halloween? And They'll Let Him Sign And Send The Halloween Cards To My Kids?

RMDILUV, yes he will probably get it before Halloween. Probably by next week.

i think he wil get before hallow eve' yet as for....the signing and sending if you left them all blank you are not allowed to mail blank envelopes into prison for sure...at least ccc...hope u used a pencil...and signed the insides/pencil..........i think one of the girls told me to try that groovy trick before..please let us know if any of u ladies have accomplished this ...internal card delivery...lol
