Just wanted you all to know that Tony has been moved as of today from Holdenville to Ft Supply :(
I hear its a nice min. but its further away from me then Holdenville was .......add another 3 hours to my already 3 hour drive :(
He called at 6:30am said he was getting on the bus at 8am

I contacted I think its called William Keys in Ft Supply.
I can't be added to his new visit list and approved for the next 30 days *sigh*

Anyways if any of you have any information on this prison would be glad to hear from you. I know its close to Woodward Ok. and there are Hotels there and his visits go up to 8 hour instead of 4.

Renee I dont know anything about the prison but I will do some checking for you and see if I can find a shorter route for you if I can .

Renee...when he officially makes it there (check the DOC website)...call Williams Keys and ask if his visiting sheet went with him. When my husband was moved to Boley they sent his with him and I didn't have to wait to be approved again. I don't know much about Ft Supply, but there is a kid from my home town there. I talked to his dad and Steve seems to like it, but he came from county, to A & R to Ft Supply...so anything seems better than those two places. I do know it really gets cold up there. My husband was at Helena by Enid and we froze...the wind is something else. I wish you all the luck and I will be praying for you.

I am sorry for you that it is 3 hours more to drive, but happy for you that you get to spend more time with him on your visits. Steve&kids

Praise and Steve!! Thanks so much for taking the time to post a reply to this!! This is such a bad time for me right now. Tony was moved last Thursday and I have not heard from him since then. I did talk to William Keys and the visiting sheet did NOT go with him :( nor did his phone list. He has to have them redone. The lady said it could take a week or so to get my number back on his list and AT LEAST 30 days from when he sends me the visit form and I send it back in before I get to see him again!!!
I'm walking a fine line right now. Waiting and Waiting...is about to drive me insane! Thanks to God and friends and PTO I'm holding it together barely!

Gotta run pick my kitten up from the vet :) Talk to ya'll soon :)

I am so sorry to hear that they didn't send his sheet...maybe it was because he was at a private prison and Ft. Supply is a State facility. Hang in there....like Steve said you will get to visit longer and this year you can visit on Thanksgiving and Christmas (which are Thur & Fri) which means a 3 day in a row visit!! Where my husband is now, when it is a holiday no matter what level they are they only receive a 2 1/2 hour visit on the holiday...that stinks too.....when he was at Crabtree would could stay however long his level would allow. I will keep you in my prayers and you will get to see him soon....by the way the other state holidays are Sept 1 and Nov 11th (Veteran's Day)

I am so spoiled to talking to him every single day and going to see him every weekend that this is so hard to change to.
I know I should get a letter from him soon I have written him every day since last Thursday and I have no idea if he is getting them.
I know that the part of KW he is in has NO A/C I bet he is about to die!!

Sorry Renee....I live in Eastern Oklahoma around Tulsa. It is quite a drive from here....or I would be more than happy to let you stay :)

Where my husband is there is no a/c and he says it is so miserable....I feel so sorry for my baby. They have swamp fans in the unit.....I guess it is better than nothing. One thing about Western Oklahoma is it is really hot in the summer and really cold in the wintertime.

I am in OKC if you need a rest stop! But you would still have anothe 3 hours to go. I hope you hear from him soon. So far all of the ones Terry has been tranfered to you do have to redo the visit forms and call sheets but depending on the facility they try to get them done quickly. Best of luck on hearing from him soon.

Fort Supply is Home to the ODOC RID program. I heard that the yard is very nice and there is no fence there. Other than that that was all I heard whil I was in. I was at John LIlley in Boley.

Born Thanks so much!! I now get to talk to Tony almost every day and it's a matter of days before I'm ok'ed for visits. :) I can hardly wait. Tony says its really a nice place except in his unit where there is no A/C lol

Hey Renee! Haven't been on too much lately, but I just caught your post. So glad you finally heard from Tony. I know how hard it is. Jacc has been on lockdown with no phone calls or visits since back in early June, so I am trying to keep busy with other things. Definitely praying a lot!! Practically tackelling the mailman before he even hits the mailbox....LOL!! I'm sorry that you are going to have to travel so far. I'm about 4 & 1/2 to 5 hours myself, so I know the drudgery of it. But I gotta tell you, I'd hop on the freeway right now if they opened up visiting!! Keep your eyes on God! You know He will provide a way!! Love ya!!
